om!
My mixer is my best buddy too!!
My hand mixer makes me sad 🙁
I’m squirreling money away to pick up a Kitchen Aid mixer, but that’s 200ish bucks.
So instead, I have an $8 hamilton beach that has a VERY fast speed 1. The difference between lowest setting and the next is, as near as I can tell, absolutely ZERO.
I’ve had to fashion a shield made from an old plastic lid that I broke the bowl to (buttered hands and grabbing glassware does NOT mix, kids) in order to try and contain the PUFF of flour every time I power on my mixer.
I do like the control I have with the handheld, though. I can mix in a pot and everything!
Great shot, though!
My best buddy has konked out on me. I seriously have to press the beaters into the bowl so they don’t fall off. I think it’s time to go shopping for a new buddy.
Mom: FINALLY! You got me a good hand mixer!
You: AND it has a beater-release button!
Mom: Yeah the old one did too..
Me: OH! Really?! I always just ripped them out.
haha I guess this is why we let you cook
